Do I need a motorcycle license?

Yes, a valid international or Australian license is required. Ensure your license is up to date and ready to hit the road for an unforgettable journey.

Can I bring my own bike on fully inclusive tours?

Absolutely! This is the cheaper option on our 9,12 & 14 day fully inclusive tours. Just ensure your bike is fully serviced (filters, bearings etc.) equipped with new knobby tyres, GPS navigation and has a fuel range of at least 250km. We cover your bikes fuel costs whilst on our fully inclusive tours* (after the first tank). Maintenance is up to you to look after but our experienced crew will be on hand ready to lend a hand whenever needed! Just remember you are responsible for organising transport for your bike to and from the start and finish point of the ride. *Only on our fully inclusive tours.

What is included in the fully inclusive tours?

Motorcycle Hire (Unless Bring Your Own Bike Option selected) – A fully prepped adventure bike with Garmin GPS, fresh Pirelli tyres and rackless lugagge.
Fuel – All fuel for the tour, including BYO bikes (after the first full tank).
Planned Routes – Pre-ridden epic routes packing in the best adventure routes and scenic views.
Pre-ride Briefings – Daily briefing on the upcoming day along with comprehensive route sheets.
Accommodation – Twin Share accommodation provided (Single available at additional cost).
Meals – Breakfast and Dinner are included at a group agreed location every day. Each break stop has multiple food and drink options.
Tour Guide/Sweep Rider – Experienced tour guide and sweep rider to ensure a smooth experience.
Support Vehicle – For carrying your luggage, spares and service items.
Medical – Fully first aid trained staff along with satellite phone, Garmin Inreach and UHF’s.

What do i need to bring?

The best time for off-road biking in Australia is during the cooler months, from March to November. This period offers pleasant weather and optimal trail conditions for an enjoyable biking experience.

Protective riding gear (What you normally wear; Helmet, Jacket & Pants with Armour, gloves proper off-road boots).
Hydration Backpack.
Trail snacks.
Clothes to change into after the day has finished.
Any spares (If Bring your own bike option selected) Our support vehicle will carry them for you.
Appetite for Adventure
Travel Insurance and Ambulance cover (Mandatory)

What happens if an accident occurs?

Yes, we offer bike rentals for our tours. Our bikes are well-maintained and suitable for various terrains, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable ride during your off-road biking experience.

All our crew are first-aid trained and keep a fully stocked first-aid kit in our support vehicle and comprehensive first aid kits with our guides, alongside a Garmin InReach Mini and satellite phone, for urgent rescue calls if needed. In the event of an injury preventing you from continuing the tour, it will regrettably mark its conclusion. We passionately urge you to secure personal travel/accident insurance covering all activities, including the use of motorcycles above 250cc. Your safety and enjoyment are our utmost priorities, and this insurance provides reassurance amidst the excitement of the journey.

Am I responsible for damages to hire bikes?

On international tours, motorcycles are supplied through third-party hire operators. As a result, security bond amounts vary by operator, motorcycle, and country.

Bonds are payable directly to the hire provider and are refundable upon return of the motorcycle, provided no damage has occurred beyond normal wear and tear. Wear and tear is expected; however, any damage, loss, or breakage to the motorcycle, parts, or accessories will be assessed by the hire operator, with repair or replacement costs deducted from the bond.

Riders are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing any damaged components or panels, in the same manner as if repairing their own motorcycle. Bonds are intended to cover loss or damage to the hired motorcycle and its fitted components only, and do not cover third-party property or personal injury.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that explicitly covers motorcycle riding on motorcycles over 250cc, including medical expenses, damage excesses, and trip interruption.

How much experience do i need?

Our rides aren’t about racing or rallying; they’re about embarking on a adventure tour through our breathtaking country. Take your time to immerse yourself in the ever-changing landscapes. Our ride tend to cover between 300-400km’s per day and are designed for all skill levels! Remember, there’s no pressure to keep up. We’re all here to embrace the adventure together, no matter how you ride!

What do I need to pay for whilst on tour?

During our fully inclusive tours, the only expenses you would need to cover are lunches for yourself, any alcoholic beverages, trail snacks, drinks and any gifts or souvenirs you may wish to buy along the journey.

What if i need to cancel my tour?

If you cancel after booking confirmation but before your final payment, your 20% deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel after final payment has been received:

More than 21 days before the departure date: 75% will be refunded.
Between 21 and 14 days before the departure date: 50% will be refunded.
Between 14 and 7 days before the departure date: 25% will be refunded.
Less than 7 days before the departure date: No refund will be issued.

Please note that if a participant fails to join a tour or leaves before its completion, no refunds can be made. Additionally, no refunds will be provided for any unused or undertaken parts of the tour.

We highly recommend securing personal travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that might prevent you from attending the tour.
