NSW North Coast 5 Day Adventure
The 2025 edition of the NSW North Coast 5 Day Adventure kicks off from Woolgoolga on the NSW mid-north coast on a 5-day format heading as west as Glen Innes and as north as Kyogle, making for different terrain from forestry trails to wide open farmland! This Adventure Ride is open to all makes and models of adventure & dual-sport bikes. This adventure ride is tailored to all adventure and dual sport bikes! All skill levels from beginners to seasoned adventure riders are most welcome. We travel approximately 350 km each day over a variety of terrains. This 5 day ride is fully supported by our experienced Vagabond Moto crew.
Where you’ll ride
From the vast Mongolian steppe to the towering Khongor Sand Dunes, every day delivers new terrain and unforgettable riding. Expect gravel tracks, rocky climbs, and stretches of soft sand that test both skill and stamina — all set against landscapes that shift from icy gorges to glowing red cliffs.
Read moreThis 10-day ride takes you across Mongolia’s rugged South Gobi. Out of Ulaanbaatar, you’ll roll through sweeping plains and into surreal stone formations at Ikh Gazriin Chuluu. The White Stupa rises like a fortress from the desert, while the icy gorge of Yolyn Am offers a cool contrast in the heat of the Gobi. Further south, the legendary Khongor Sand Dunes stretch for 130km — a rider’s playground of golden ridges known as the “Singing Sands.” The journey continues to the Flaming Cliffs, glowing rust-red at sunset, before looping back north through grasslands and granite outcrops.The riding is as diverse as the scenery: smooth tarmac, endless gravel, technical climbs, and deep sand. Some days flow with ease, others push you to dig deep — but every kilometre brings you closer to that raw sense of freedom that only comes on two wheels.

You’ll be riding a CFMOTO 450MT — lightweight, capable, and built for adventure. From open plains to rocky climbs and soft sand, it’s the perfect machine for Mongolia’s wild terrain.

Where you’ll stay
When the helmets come off, it’s time to unwind. Most nights are spent in traditional Mongolian ger camps, with a few hotel stays along the way for a change of pace.

Where you’ll ride
The route flows from Woolgoolga’s coast into the hinterland, crossing forests, farmland, and winding mountain roads. Around 350 kilometres each day keeps the ride engaging. Optional tougher lines give more experienced riders an extra challenge.
